Fashion students and creative technologists taking part in the Denim PV Hackathon will present their projects to a prestigious jury of 4 denim professionals.
With a combined textiles, economics and marketing degree from Manchester University and 25+ years of experience in marketing communications, Catherine’s role with the CORDURA® brand global team focuses on showcasing CORDURA® fabrics and technologies across multiple communications platforms through storytelling and brand building tools. She has always loved textiles and has been sewing and creating with fabrics from the age of five – starting with soft toys and dolls for herself as a child, and moving on to patchwork quilts and children’s costumes for her three daughters. A self-confessed “fabri-holic”, Catherine has a passion for great textile design and enjoys seeing how fabrics can be transformed into iconic products. Over the past five years she has worked for the CORDURA® brand on a number of collaborations with students at design schools in France, the UK and the US to help bring technical cutting-edge fabrics into the hands of tomorrow’s designers and is proud to be part of the team helping to set the foundations for the CORDURA® brand’s next 50 years.
