50 SHADES OF INDIGO
PROSPERITY TEXTILE (HK) – D6
The focus here remains on darker, more saturated indigo colours such as Indy Blue, and creating layered looks by over-dyeing. Prosperity Textile is also turning more and more to DyStar pre-reduced indigo in a continued effort to contribute to a cleaner environment.
Carmine Blue and Iro Blue – both part of the Sweet Indigo family- are growing in importance as they ban the use of hydrosulphites and use organic dye additives to develop the shades. Carmine Blue is a retro hue, reminiscent of 80’s mid-indigo casts with a somewhat marbled surface aspect, using up to 30% recycled cotton.
Prosperity has also come up with a unique new black that’s crisp and clean with a one-of-a-kind wash-down pattern, made using Archroma’s sulphide-free sulphur dyes.
