Alberto De Conti joins jury for the Denim PV Hackathon

Fashion students and creative technologists taking part in the Denim PV Hackathon will present their projects to a prestigious jury of 4 denim professionals.



Alberto De Conti is probably the only biochemist who made the move from genes to jeans.
He began his career working on enzymatic applications for textiles in biotech labs in Milan, Vienna, and Berlin, and then joined the R&D group at Levi Strauss & Co.
After first working in product management, he became Global Director of Business Development & Innovation, and led the development and implementation of global product breakthrough and innovation strategies for the Levi’s® brand.
De Conti is currently CMO at Garmon Chemicals, where he heads up company-wide efforts addressing evolving fashion market dynamics.

He holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Milan, and an international MBA from the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.
