Naveena presents Horizon, the most sustainable denim fabric ever. The company’s latest innovation can be discovered this December 5th and 6th at Denim Première Vision, in London.
THE MOST SUSTAINABLE DENIM FABRIC EVER
This is an innovative and cutting-edge combination of Ecolean + Aqualter + H2NO in collaboration with Dystar’s dyeing and Jeanologia’s G2 finishing processes.
Indeed, compared to current industry standards, HORIZON uses dramatically less water and chemicals, reducing effluent load while saving water, time and energy.
MAXIMUM WATER REDUCTION
Furthermore, for maximum water reduction, the company combines three most water-saving processes: “Ecolean”, “Aqualter” and “H2NO”. It’s a perfect blend to save up to: 12 L of water per jeans, a 40%+ improvement in EIM score, and 10.5 L per meter of fabric.
REDUCED CHEMICAL CONSUMPTION
As compared to conventional denim dyeing and finishing processes, Horizon allows savings of up to: 38% less chemicals, no desizing, dust-free and odourless, no PP spray on garments, 95% less sulphate.
Therefore, developing methods with a major reduction in the consumption of salt provides a much cleaner and waste-free manufacturing process, which can save up to: 40% less time, 40% less effluent load, 1.5 kg per meter less steam consumption, 80% less energy.
ANTI BACK STAINING & IMPROVED CROCKING
Eliminated back staining and reddish cast allow to obtain a cleaner and authentic look.
In fact, the fabric is run through the crocking test making sure the qualities are maintained up to Jeanologia’s Standards.
Moreover, as compared to a conventional finish, Horizon eliminates the reddish cast in black denim. The crimson tinge on such fabrics is completely eradicated when it goes through the breakthrough Horizon process.
To discover Horizon, come meet Naveena next December 5th and 6th at The Old Truman Brewery.
