Denim’s unlimited versatility is showcased in a unique capsule collection – Mesmerize – resulting from an international collaboration between Chottani, a leading Pakistan garment maker, and Lenzing, the Austrian sustainable fibre manufacture, with embellishments supplied by Crystals by Swarovski.
The collection will be showcased at Denim Premiere Vision in London on December 5th and 6th.
The Mesmerize collection
For Mesmerize, Chottani drew on the resources of two Austrian companies, Lenzing AG and Swarovski, to elaborate women’s garment styles. The collection’s sophisticated indigo fabrics are made with TENCEL™ branded Lyocell fibres. In addition, to enhancing fabric sustainability, TENCEL™ adds richness, softness and beautiful drape.
The fabrics are also very receptive to special finishing techniques that add to the fabrics’ sumptuous look and feel. Swarovski crystals are hand-sewn to the garments for a dazzling appearance that elevates the designs from traditional denim to something very special.
New sources of inspiration
“These enchanting styles celebrate luxury, femininity, and glamour in a way that will change everyone’s impression of denim”, says Tricia Carey, Director of Global Business Development for denim at Lenzing. The women’s dresses, tops, and pants that make up the “Mesmerize” group were imagined by the company’s Fashion Director, Zainab Chottani.
The collaboration unveils a luxury and premium collection, aimed at inspiring brands for their SS20 collections. Denim Première Vision seeks to encourage the discovery of new sources of inspiration.
If you’d like more information about this collaboration, join Lenzing and Chottani this December 5th and 6th at The Old Truman Brewery.
