Artistic Milliners: a sustainable approach for its Alpha collection

Founded in 1949, Artistic Milliners has since expanded to become a fully vertically integrated textile set-up.  Its aim is to provide high-end customers with premium quality denim fabrics and garments. Since its inception, the company has been a front-runner in the global textile industry, spearheading denim innovation and sustainability.

To reach this position, it continually pushes the boundaries of what a pair of jeans can be. Artistic Milliners takes a holistic approach towards sustainability and has received LEED Platinum certification by US Green Building Council for its Echo-Tech Unit recently. Artistic Milliners today employs about 16,000 people with representative offices across the globe.

Alpha

The Alpha collection inspirits a 40s workwear aesthetic with luxurious fibres infused with the right amount of stretch. This collection meets the needs of modern man’s active lifestyle, while staying true to the classic 3×1 denim aesthetic.

Alpha-01

Artistic Milliners respects the earth and its resources, regarding them as precious gifts, not be taken for granted. For this reason, it’s time for a change, to do more with the resources the company has available, to make a difference and evolve what it has been doing up till now. It’s time to honour a change, to push forward and alter the status quo. To throw away waste is now a disgrace. To alter and rethink its outlook, and make an investment in the future, the company is striving to no longer discard what Artistic Milliners perceives as waste, and view it as something to reuse and cherish. Thus, the company introduces the Respect collection, made from pre-consumer and industrial waste, and dyed using their Crystal Clear dyes.
