Marithé+François Girbaud

Marithé + François Girbaud is a pioneering French brand in the denim industry. Designers, Marithé Bachellerie and François Girbaud have always put innovation at the heart of creation. Each garment is exaggerated in its design to highlight its work, its technology and which attitude to adopt. They developed a casual style based on experimentation by drawing on work clothing and interpreting streetwear codes.

Forerunners in the industrialization of Stonewash techniques since 1986, in recent years these “designer-researchers” have elaborated an ethical and more ecological process, the Wattwash, which makes it possible to use laser treatments to embellish or age denim fabric.

Since 2015 the brand has been back with a new distribution formula relying on an out-of-the-box, store-free concept, allowing Marithé + François Girbaud offer another unique experience to its customers.
