QUANTUM: Jeanologia brings the Advent of “Teleport” design
For Star Trek fans, “Beam me up, Scotty” is a catchphrase that made its way into popular culture not too long ago. Captain Kirk gives this command to his chief engineer Montgomery “Scotty” Scott, when he needs to be transported back to the Starship Enterprise.
Jeanologia reveals QUANTUM at Denim PV, the closest to teleporting that a designer work can be. A digital jeans simulator that teleports virtual washes, and links the brand design studio with the production centers on the other side of the world.
QUANTUM can send up to 100 virtual finishes per day, thus, shortening the cycle from the creative product conception to manufacturing in more than 8 weeks.
QUANTUM solves the traditional problem of disconnection between the design centers and the remote factories located many miles away.
This detachment has occurred in the last 10 years due to budgetary restrictions and security constraints that prevent designers from traveling to distant supplying areas.
In the words of Carmen Silla, Jeanologia Marketing Manager: “QUANTUM places the Brand Designer back in the center of the entire development process. QUANTUM will bring about a new highly creative era to the Jeanswear World”
QUANTUM is based on a new software, more powerful marking algorithms, and virtual imaging with a very intuitive and easy to use interface.
“QUANTUM is very simple to use. The system has been specially created for those designers who are still using analog methods and traditional protocols, as well as to ease the work of manufacturing companies and factories that so much contribute to the world of Denim with their everyday work”
QUANTUM is the new tool devoted to Jeanologia “Design Digital Washing Revolution” where creativity, efficiency, and time-to-market are the main components.
During the last decade, Jeanologia has led this jeans design transformation by pushing from an analog, water wasting, and human hazardous finishing industry, towards a 100% digital, sustainable, and technologically intensive one; all this due to the intensive use of laser, ozone and e-flow devices.
Jeanologia has also launched two more products that, together with QUANTUM, close the 360º Jeans designer orientation: The Smart Lab, and the patented HDR (High Definition Range) laser technology.
